Dr Stanley Chia is an experienced Cardiologist and Physician. He graduated from the University of Edinburgh Medical School, United Kingdom, obtaining the degrees of MB ChB with honors.

He undertook postgraduate medical training at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh and was accepted as a Member of the Royal College of Physicians, Edinburgh in 2000.  He was awarded the British Heart Foundation Junior Research Fellowship to conduct research on inflammation in cardiovascular disease, and was conferred the degree of Doctor of Medicine by the University of Edinburgh in 2006.

Dr Chia completed his cardiology specialty training in Singapore and has been certified as a Specialist in Cardiology since 2006.  He also underwent further specialized two-year fellowship training in Interventional Cardiology at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital, United States of America.  He was formerly Senior Consultant Cardiologist at National Heart Centre Singapore and Clinical Senior Lecturer at National University of Singapore.

 

His main clinical expertise is in management of coronary artery disease, complex coronary intervention, and coronary imaging.
