Dr Mok Zhun Rui is a Ministry of Health accredited Consultant Dermatologist with a decade of experience in the specialty. He has interests in eczema, psoriasis, skin cancers, immunodermatology, dermatosurgery and cosmetic dermatology. He is also a Mohs’ Micrographic Surgeon, having trained at St John’s Institute of Dermatology, London, United Kingdom. He is jointly accredited by the British Association of Dermatologists, British Society for Dermatological Surgery, and British College of Dermatologists.

Achievements

Dr Mok helmed many portfolios while in public service. He was the Clinical Lead for the Multidisciplinary Skin Tumour Group, divisional Patient Safety Officer for Dermatology amd Consultant Dermatologist at the National University Hospital and National Cancer Institute of Singapore. He led the hospital’s Mohs Micrographic Surgery unit, and was also the Clinical Lead for the Multidisciplinary Skin Tumour Group

Aside from his clinical portfolio, Dr Mok was also heavily involved in both undergraduate and postgraduate medical education. He held concurrent appointments as the Site Director and core faculty for the National Dermatology Senior Residency Programme, and Assistant Professor at the National University of Singapore.

Dr Mok now serves as a Visiting Consultant Dermatologist and Mohs’ Micrographic Surgeon at the National Skin Centre.

Throughout his career, He has published and presented multiple papers on dermatology in scientific journals and conferences. He has also been invited to be a guest reviewer at multiple peer-reviewed dermatology journals, and a guest speaker at medical and patient forums.
