Info

Dr Kelvin Chua is a Cardiologist with subspeciality training in Electrophysiology and Pacing at The Heart and Vascular
Centre. He completed his clinical fellowship in Cardiac Electrophysiology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and
University of Chicago, United States, where he acquired expertise in the management of complex arrhythmias and
cardiac implantable electronic devices. He is currently a Visiting Consultant at National Heart Centre Singapore and
concurrently holds an academic position as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Duke-NUS Medical School. His key
interests include sudden cardiac death, genetics of inherited arrhythmias, catheter ablations of complex atrial and
ventricular arrhythmias, use of novel pacing and ablation strategies including leadless pacing, conduction system
pacing, ultra-high-density mapping, cryoablation and pulsed-field ablation for atrial fibrillation.

Associated Treatments

1) Catheter ablation of atrial fibrillation (AF)
2) Catheter ablation of supraventricular tachycardia (SVT)
3) Catheter ablation of ventricular tachycardia (VT)
4) Permanent Pacemaker (PPM) implantation
5) Implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD) implantation
6) Implantable loop recorder (ILR) implantation

Special Treatments

1)Catheter ablation of atrial fibrillation (AF) – radiofrequency ablation (RFA), cryoballoon ablation (CBA),
pulsed-field ablation (PFA)
2) Catheter ablation of supraventricular tachycardia (SVT) – fluoroless ablation
3) Permanent Pacemaker (PPM) implantation – conduction system pacing, leadless pacing
4) Implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD) implantation – transvenous ICD, subcutaneous ICD
5) Genetic testing
