Info | Dr Jendana Chanyaputhipong has been in clinical practice for nearly 20 years in Singapore. Her main interests are in breast surgical oncology and reconstructive surgery. After obtaining her postgraduate degrees in Singapore and UK, Dr Jendana pursued advanced subspecialty training in Breast Surgical Oncology at Siriraj Hospital in Bangkok, Thailand. In her 2 years there, she honed her skills in oncoplastic breast remodelling, immediate/delayed breast reconstruction using either pedicled autologous flap or implant with lipofilling. Dr Jendana also learned the art of cryoablation for breast cancer at Kameda Medical Centre, Japan and have treated some of her patients with this technique. Dr Jendana is committed and passionate about supporting her patients through their journey, providing them with holistic & individualised treatment plan that respects their uniqueness and desires without compromising best possible outcome. |

Awards and Honours | Dr Jendana was active in training the next generation of doctors. She was clinical instructor and appointed clinical tutor for surgical residents and medical students of Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and Duke-NUS Medical School, Singapore. She has won many teaching awards, including the “Best Tutor (Surgery) Award” for year 2011, 2012 and 2013, the “Outstanding Clinical Teacher Award” in 2014, as well as the “Special Recognition Award for being a Role Model to the Medicine Graduating Class of 2015” from National University of Singapore. Dr Jendana also received several patient care awards during her service at Singapore General Hospital, Alexandra Hospital, and Khoo Teck Puat Hospital. |
