Background

Dr Jayaram Lingamanaicker is one of the leading cardiologists who have vast experience and expertise in performing Balloon Angioplasty and stenting for many years. He has more than twenty years of experience in clinical medicine and Cardiology. He has had his education and training in various prestigious hospitals in the United Kingdom including Oxford. He took his basic degree from Edinburgh and continued his career over 12 years at various hospitals in UK. The excellent and pioneering teachers at that time had moulded him to be a fine cardiologist. He is very well versed in Cardiac catheterization and stenting, Echocardiography, Pacemaker implantation and many of the latest cardiac tests .He has great passion for treating cardiac problems.

After completion of his studies and training he returned to Singapore as Consultant Interventional Cardiologist based at Changi General Hospital, a large 850 bedded Government hospital where he later became Senior Consultant and Head of the Division of Cardiology. He has done extensive research work and published widely and twice won the Best Teacher award. He teaches at the National University of Singapore in the capacity of Senior lecturer .Also attends lots of cardiology conferences and has been invited as a speaker in the Asia Pacific region. After ten years in Government service Dr Jayaram has loved his practice to Mount Elizabeth Hospital Singapore where he now practices full time.
