Background

Dr Ivy was awarded PSC merit scholarship to study in the University of Singapore from 1973 to 1978. Obtained Govt Scholarship to pursue Master of Medicine 1982. She went to Royal Free Hospital London for advanced training from 1985-1986. Dr Ivy served as senior consultant with NUH and also held Associate Professor post with NUS before entering private practice at MEMC.

Dr Yap was trained in gastroenterology and hepatology with a special interest in treating Chronic B & C, fatty liver disease, Cirrhosis. Dr Yap also provide diagnostic and therapeutic gastroenterology, colonoscopy, polypectomy and pile ligation as well as managing gastro-intestinal problems like abdomenal pain, bloating, chronic diarrhoea, constipation, and GI bleeding.
