Background

Dr Ho Soon Teck graduated from the University of Singapore. He received his post-graduate surgical fellowship training at the Singapore General Hospital and at the Sydney Hospital, Australia.

He had received extensive training in General Surgery. The training covered surgery of the Head and Neck, Breasts, Digestive System (Gall-bladder, Stomach, Colon, Rectum & Anus), Endoscopy, Venous Diseases of the lower limbs, and Diseases of the Skin.

He was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, and the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.

Upon completion of his surgical training, he was appointed as a Lecturer in Surgery in the University Department of Surgery, Singapore General Hospital. In the 10 years of the service, he was appointed Consultant in General Surgery and Associated Professor in Surgery. Following his resignation from the University Department of Surgery, he set up his surgical practice at Mount Elizabeth Medical Centre, Singapore.
