Dr Felicia Chin is a senior consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist sub-specialising in gynaecological oncology, specifically in the area of gynaecological cancer surgery and management. She spearheaded the development of Singapore’s first Gynae Oncofertility service in KK Women’s & Children’s Hospital (KKH), which helps early-stage cancer patients retain their fertility.  Dr Chin continues to serve in the public sector as a visiting consultant at KKH.

Dr Chin graduated from the National University of Singapore’s Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine in 2008. She received specialist training at KKH and qualified as an Obstetrician & Gynaecologist in 2016.   Dr Chin was then awarded the Ministry of Health’s prestigious Health Manpower Development Plan (HMDP) scholarship in 2019 to advance her specialist education in fertility-sparing management of gynaecological cancers at the Royal Women’s Hospital in Melbourne.

Dr Chin sub-specialises in the surgical management of gynaecological cancers. As an accredited laparoscopic surgeon in advanced laparoscopy for both cancer and benign conditions, she is skilled in performing a range of procedures for cancers of the female reproductive system. Dr Chin has a special interest in fertility preservation for women with early-stage gynaecological cancers.  She is also a qualified colposcopist with the Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology of Singapore (SCCPS).

Dr Chin is passionate about patient advocacy and supporting her patients in their cancer journey through the GyneCologic Cancer Group Singapore.  She is also a strong advocate of cervical cancer screening and prevention. She volunteers with the Himalayan Women’s Health Project to bring cervical cancer screening and prevention to remote areas in the Indian Himalayas. Additionally, she serves on the SCCPS council as honorary treasure and chairs its Continuing Medical Education committee.
