Background	She graduated from the University of Singapore 1975. She underwent 1 year of Fellowship Training in Rheumatology in the Department of Rheumatology, Hammersmith Hospital, London in 1983. She worked in several re-structured hospitals ( Singapore General Hospital, Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH), and National University Hospital(NUH). She was previously the Head of the Department of Rheumatology in TTSH and the Division of Rheumatology in NUH. She treats and manages patients with Rheumatic Diseases such as Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE), Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA), Sjogren’s Syndrome, Anti-phospholipid Antibody Syndrome, Psoriatic Arthritis, Ankylosis Spondylitis, Vasculitides, Scleroderma, Dermatomyositis, Polymyositis, Osteoarthritis ,Osteoporosis etc.
