Background	Our Clinic was started by Dr Chew Soo Ping in 2008. he was formerly Senior Consultant and Deputy Head; Department of General Surgery; Chief of Hepato-biliary & Pancreatic Surgery, Tan Tock Seng Hospital as well as Senior Consultant, Centre for Gut, Liver & Laparoscopic Surgery, Mount Elizabeth Hospital.
Facilities and Services	Our clinic provide a broad base general surgery services including consultation, investigations and treatment for common general surgical condition such as lumps and swellings on skin, neck swellings, abdominal symptoms (gastric pain, bloating, dyspepsia, blood in stool, jaundice and abdominal distension or swelling). We perform gastroscopy, colonoscopy and endoscopic retrograde cholangio-pancreaticgraphy (ERCP). Dr Chew specializes in management of cancers of the digestive system – including stomach cancer, liver cancer, pancreatic cancer, bile duct cancer, colon cancer and small bowel tumors. He is a specialists surgeon in the area of hepatobiliary (liver and biliary tract, including gallbladder) and pancreatic surgery. Dr Chew has keen interest in minimally access / laparoscopic surgery; he is experienced in laparoscopic operation for gallbladder stones disease, hernia in abdominal wall and inguinal (groin) hernia, laparoscopic surgery for spleen and adrenal glands. Laparoscopic operations for resection of tumors in the stomach, liver, pancreas and intestine can be done in selected patients when such approach is deemed feasible. Although we are a stand-alone surgical clinic, we work closely with fellow colleagues in various specialties including medical & radiation oncologist, intervention radiologist, gastroenterologist, endocrinologist as well as other surgeons to provide our patients with the best and holistic approach in treatment of their conditions.
