| Background | Francis Lee Dental Surgery was started in 1978 by Dr Francis Lee Moh Shin. Dr Lee was known among his peers as FMS Lee. Among patients, he was known as Prof Lee. This was due to the fact that he was a professor and headed the department of oral surgery in SGH and the University of Malaya. Dr Lee resigned from the university and started his private practice in Orchard Building before shifting to Mount Elizabeth. As he went into semi-retirement in 2002, he enlisted the services of Dr Seah Yang Howe, a man whom he saw fit to run his practice according to the philosophy of giving the best quality dental health work to each and every patient. The philosophy still continues to this present day. This is evident by some patients who are still actively coming back for treatment since day 1. Others have been bringing their children and grandchildren for treatment. The clinic was renamed Dr Seah Root Canal + Implant Surgical Clinic to better reflect the services that is mainly carried out. |
